The 2009-2014 Outlook for Marshmallow, Cream-Filled, and Oatmeal Cookies, Wafers, Toaster Pastries, Ice Cream Cones and Cups Excluding Frozen Types in India

Product Description

This econometric study covers the latent demand outlook for marshmallow, cream-filled, and oatmeal cookies, wafers, toaster pastries, ice cream cones and cups excluding frozen types across the states, union territories and cities of India. Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across over 5,100 cities in India. For each city in question, the percent share the city is of it's state or union territory and of India as a whole is reported. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a city vis-a-vis others. This statistical approach can prove very useful to distribution and/or sales force strategies. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each state or union territory and city, latent demand estimates are created for marshmallow, cream-filled, and oatmeal cookies, wafers, toaster pastries, ice cream cones and cups excluding frozen types. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome! Better than Pop Tarts!, April 14, 2007
I stopped eating pop-tarts because of all the junk that was in them (hydrogenated oils, artificial colors, etc).

I tried these and - wow! They are actually better tasting than pop-tarts. They still have the rich buttery crust, but their filling is actual fruit, and tastes incredible.

These look exactly the same as pop-tarts, right down to the foil wrapper and little grooves on the back of the pastry. They have organic ingredients though, and no hydrogenated oils, white flour, or artificial colors.

This doesn't make them completely "healthy" (these are still over 1/3 sugar by weight), but for an occasional snack they are awesome.

The grocery store is saturated with products that are high in sugar and fat and frankly I've become weary reading labels. I've started to buy more and more organic products and find that many of them meet or exceed my expectations for flavor and quality.

Nature's Path Organic Blueberry Toaster Pastries are made organic wheat flour and they are absolutely delicious. They heat up fast in the toaster for breakfast with a cup of tea and are convenient for a snack. I'd go as far as to say these are better than cookies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious toaster pastries..., January 13, 2007

All of the Nature's Path organic toaster pastries are delicious, and actually good for you, to the extent that a carb filled toaster pastry can be. The frosting amount is just right, not too little, and not too overpowering.

As for flavor preference, here's where I stand:

strawberry > apple cinnamon > blueberry

Our classic Pop-Tarts flavor.  Sweet frosting decorated with rainbow sprinkles and filled with strawberry-flavored goodness.  No wonder it's so popular.

2.0 out of 5 stars don't taste as good as those from the grocery store, December 21, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: Pop-Tarts Toaster Pastries, Frosted Strawberry, 36-Count Box (Grocery)
I'm used to buying 12 poptarts for $2.89 in my area (Tennessee) so I thought 36 for $6.70 from Amazon was a slightly better deal with the prime free shipping. Well, it would have been if the poptarts tasted fresh and as good as they do when I buy them from the grocery store. They're not packaged in tinfoil like they are at my grocery store, they just don't taste the same. They'll do and I'll eat them, but I won't be buying them from amazon again, especially since the price has increased to $18 at this writing!

Nothing wrong with the poptarts themselves. Quality of the product is good. However, this particular product offering is for a total of 36 poptarts, not 36 packages. You'll get 3 boxes inside one big box. Each of the three small boxes contain 6 two-poptart packages. They are wrapped in heavy labeled foil type wrapping. These are the packages you'll see in a vending machine or used at a fund raiser type thing. Looks like you're better off buying these at wal-mart or a local grocery store because this isn't cheaper. If you have vending machines, probably a good deal.

2.0 out of 5 stars Maybe buying pastries through the mail isn't a good idea..., January 21, 2012
This review is from: Pop-Tarts Toaster Pastries, Frosted Strawberry, 36-Count Box (Grocery)
Well, they tasted fine but they were a broken, crumbled mess. I could live with it if it was just me, but my wife hated them. (I cleaned my own mess up but the kids didn't. And they made a lot bigger mess than the store-bought version.) In retrospect, maybe it wasn't such a good idea buying mail-order food that's susceptible to breakage. Imagine buying a bag of potato chips through the mail... :)
